My Bio
I'm a criminal justice and business management major from "Mil-town", WI and make custom action figures in my spare time. They help me escape from the trivial yesterdays and todays, and give me a little smile to make it through tomorrow. Yep. All that from some 3.5 inch figures! :-D
If you can't tell, all my figures are Marvel related; actually they're mostly X-men. I have spent most of my life battling a few illnesses and, though it sounds silly, X-Men have been helping me through it. I read the comics to run away momentarily from reality and make my figures. (I always used to say that me being sick was just my mutant abilities begining to flourish. ;-) I'm geeky that way.)

How do you make those little statues look like the women of X-Men, most of them look like women from different anime series.

hey ~RunawayAngel1633: Pretty cool how we both share similar majors and are both Marvel Zombies. I love Dust because her concept design is a pretty modern rendition of afghani wear and behavior for refugees in 2005. Being a devout muslim I'm not at all offended of her unveiling because in alot of ways it's just another culture's way of connecting with that character. Often times veiling one's face creates a distrust in Western Society hence why Spider-man is less trusted than someone with an actual criminal record like Hawk Eye who doesn't wear a full covered costume. Anyways I hope this relieves some anxiety you have about going public being a Sooraya fan. I often find myself wishing they would give her more character other than simply being a devout muslim. She has such great potential.
i totally agree with you! I haven't seen her in the comics lately but for a while there, Sooraya was simply amazing. Her potential is going untapped. I hope to see her more in some upcoming comic series instead of her just being in the background here and there.
